I have heard good things about Greenwich's special ed program. But $850k will not get you much house there.

Thanks I will check into Fairfield and Westport - What kind of commmute is that car and train? What is the commute from Wilton and Weston? We would prefer a smaller school district that has high per pupil investment - we are very involved in our sons education and want to make sure that he has access to the necessary resources

I would suggest looking for a home in Westchester County, as special education services in NY are the best in the country, especially in NYC and Westchester County. Also- your husband's commute will be much easier coming from NY to Stamford than from upper Fairfield (traffic!!!!) If you are set on CT-probably Westport, Fairfield or Greenwich.

I would not recommend living in NY. Your taxes will be double.
