5-6" when I put the snowblower to work in NW Wilton. Probably only 2" by the S Norwalk train station. Changed over to sleet on the drive in.

I know all the hubbub is about the current storm (which it looks like CT will be the "jackpot zone".....highest 'official' (i.e. airport/weather station) totals for the whole tri-state area so far are 3.5" in both Sikorsky (Bridgeport/Stratford) and Danbury) but I now see NWS showing snow for next Monday night into Tuesday and they're showing it as solidly snow for CT and the whole tri-state area.......

3"......maybe 4 this morning in Derby. Went out to shovel my space at around 5:50 and it changed right over to rain/mix right away.......mostly rain. No biggie. Merritt was a breeze all the way to NY......minus 1 small fender bender around Exit 44.

Maybe 4" in Marlborough/Hebron area. Town roads were great, well treated and plowed. State roads are TERRIBLE. Route 94/Hebron Ave was atrocious...pure ice, hardly any sanding/salting, just a little wet snow for traction until you got close to Route 2. I heard that Route 5 around S. Windsor/E. Hartford was just as bad.

I remember you saying you had your driveway plowed. I could be wrong; I just remember you giving some outrageous price that you paid. Maybe that's why you bought a snowblower.

I drove from Glastonbury to Bloomfield for work, part of that commute on Hebron Ave, it was a mess, Rt 2 was crowded so I jumped on Rt 3 to 91N, no issues, went 50 the whole way, raining now.

Good memory Kid! If I'm home, I'll snow blow, but my landscaper does cover for me when I'm on the road or working late. I think we pay $150ish. Snowblower was 2 bills, so the breakeven is approaching!

So looks and sounds like north of the Merrit and 84 got pretty good accumulations.

I saw a picture of Rhode Island and it looks like a true snowstorm. The coast had mix bag so not much happened.

Reports as of 9am

I bet most of it washes away later today, I see another batch of precip headed towards the region and it's mostly rain on the radar. Interestingly, a lot of areas south of us that got only rain from it (Philly thru DC) are supposed to get some snow tomorrow night while we stay clear and sunny.

Hey Cambium, I see you passed your 10,000th post, wow, congratulations!

I had about 3 inches. Crazy how much amounts can vary within a town.
