I wouldnt say always. Of the few main stations it mostly is I think because of the terrain and elevation. The others are either flatter or have more heat obstacles around them? Waterbury OXC sometimes is colder. Danbury station is at 456' elevation. I think most of the Midwest and Northeast have a good chance for accumulating snow next week. While I have see colder air in March, it may be enough to produce a decent snow, or two next week with the storm tarck setting up.
