Latest GFS stalls the storm over us. Not much rain (2-4") but a bit windy. Euro stays off shore. It will be for Wednesday the 7th. Hopefully any windows that are broken get covered before the rain.

But something tells me if we got through this last one, any other storm is going to be a breeze so to speak.

Latest GFS has snow next Wednesday. 4-6" inches for parts of Windham County. As another coastal Low and a cold front try to phase together

November 7, 2012 Nor'Easter Update

Euro00z has a snowstorm for the NorthEast next week as it completely phases both Jet streams and has a 988mb low..

3 inches into northern tier of CT. Storm comes from the south and moves up the coast as the trough goes on a negative tilt. It phases with the northern branch. GFS does not (sound familiar?)

Snow totals from the latest Euro

Normally would not fear a "traditional" winter storm this time of year...but coming on the heels of Sandy this could be real troubling for those who might still be without power then.

Euro Has it too a 982mb Low. Someone is getting a foot of snow from this. I dont believe CT will get more than 2 inches maybe 4 at most. Mostly Rain and Wind.

Still there. I'll have an update later on. Some models are stronger, some are OTS. With the NAO being negative I think we'll get some wind gusts and rain out of this and someone nearby will get snow.

Default NorEaster Update

Euro has a big NorEaster still. Without barriers and Dunes this would be more Coastal flooding and winds to 40mph at least maybe gusting up to 60mph near the coast. And Rain too.

GFS doesnt have a big coastal storm. Garbage model IMO now. at least in the 5-7 day time frame.
