I am considering renting a studio apartment in Plainville(12 W Main St). Just looking for some insight as to how decent of an area that would be to live. It seems like a relatively quiet downtown area. Also looking for some advice in regards to credit and background checks. My credit isn't all that great, so I might have to look for a roommate. Thanks for the info.
Plainville is a quiet lil town. Not much to offer (unless u love good wings theres 3 good places) but very centrally located with good highway access. Town highlites.... dairy queen, sliders, jtims, amc movies, first and last, kohls and norton park
Calm rural area...rent is typically inexpensive and highways are close. A coworker just found a 1 bed with heat/hot water for $600 and is happy there. Southington and Bristol are comparable but larger and will give you nearby major retail and some good restaurant choices.
