So my job is moving to waterbury, and I live in Fairfield, so I want to know a good route to take from fairfield to work in waterbury, and also where in CT even is waterbury? Is it near Fairfield, CT or where, so could you please give me the approximate driving time and walking time from Fairfield to Waterbury? And also Could you tell me where in CT is Waterbury exactly, never heard of that place before. And whats a good walking and driving route from Fairfield?

From Fairfield, take 95 or 15 North to the Bridgeport area. From there, take Route 8 North to Waterbury and it should take you around 25-30 minutes once you hit Route 8. Pretty easy ride.

Waterbury is a small city between Danbury and Hartford.

If you consider waterbury a small city so that mean Bridgeport and Hartford are large cities.

I don't consider any city in Connecticut to be large on its own. Some areas may be large on a SMSA basis, but no individual city is large in Connecticut by itself.

I consider Boston to be the only true "city" in New England.

The Nice Skyline in Downtown Hartford and Downtown Providence made it feel like a larger city

I have a friend who commutes from Trumbull to Waterbury which is only a tiny bit shorter than Fairfield to Danbury and he finds it a pretty easy commute.

Yeah, I'd google map it, then come back if you have any particular questions. I could understand if you were asking were a particular area of Waterbury was, but the town/city itself shows very clearly on any map.

I don't think the commute would be very bad at all since both are right off 84.

Even a particular location would be easily identifiable on a map. All the OP has to do is put the address in.
