You can see that the roof is certainly tall, higher than the typical ranch style home. We used to own a cape style home, the attic was converted to a second floor with two dormers. At that price point the OP will have to make some kind of sacrifice. The OP should look further into the Valley area, and consider a one car garage. It will be much easier to find a one car garage. Really, I see nothing wrong with the house listed above, and I'm sure there are others.

Not to mention that according to Vision Appraisals, the town of Naugatuck lists it as a Cape.....
