Hello, I need dental insurance, preferably a very expensive one that covers EVERYTHING and will save me some coin.

Also I need a dentist anywhere on the coast from stamford to milford, any have a recommendation?

Thanks.

If you need that much work, consider dental tourism. Costa Rica is a possibility.

I need 2 porcelain crowns, hardly "that much work". Thanks though for not helping at all.

So, you waited to purchase dental insurance until you know that you have a claim? That't now how it supposed to work. I hope that you get denied and have to pay the full cost out of pocket.

Maybe you can elaborate a bit.

Gtmo brings up a good point. Most individual and small employer dental plans have something called a "Waiting Period for Services" where they won't cover procedures that are beyond Preventive for a 12-month period. This ensures that you aren't gaming the system. The only way around this is to find a new Employer who will let you join the plan right away, and that policy has to NOT contain the Waiting Period for Services restriction.

Otherwise, what's the point of Insurance if you're only taking out the policy when you actually need something done?

Alternatively, I would consider keeping an eye out for Groupon/Living Social deals on Dentists if you are tight on cash. The downside is that you can't be picky and choosy about the Dentist that you are going to see.
