Might seem over the top but if it eats the paint have fun explaining to the insurance company why they should pay for it to be fixed.

Can we make a list of the gas stations that have been known to "allow" sales of cleaning supplies?

- Mobil in Windsor, CT (off of Exit 38, I-91)
- Mobil in Brookfield, CT
- Sunoco in Westport, CT
- One of the stations in Southington, CT (on Queen St.)
- Shell(?) in Wethersfield/Rocky Hill

It sounds like this practice might be a newly emerging trend. I'm even surprised that it's taking place in "high-brow towns" like Westport where the residents there would be outraged at such a practice.

I have yet to encounter it myself, but I'm always sketched out by these kind of things (especially at gas stations). Perhaps we can make people more aware about it and make the gas station owners KNOW that it is unwelcoming for patrons?

These guys are back at the Mobil gas station @ exit 38 off I-91 in Windsor. I also saw them last week on Friday 11-16 at the Mobil gas station @ exit 37 off I-91 in Windsor.

These guys are silly since annoying your (potential) customers is no way to sell a product. They should be at car shows, flea markets, etc. hawking this stuff.

Just to clarify the guys only got close enough to my bike to demonstrate the product since I thought they were Mobil employees. I have seen gas station employees do stuff like clean windows before at no charge. I suppose in an effort to build goodwill.
