Hello,
My wife and I are looking to move to Greenwich. We are not sure which area (Greenwich, CosCob, Old Greenwich, Riverside, etc...). We are in our early thirties, have a 2-month old and are of European Jewish background. We are looking to spend around 1m for 3-4 bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. Are public schools an option? If so, which area is best?
Thanks for any advice you guys can offer.

drmtk674 - Welcome to Connecticut. Greenwich is a great community. It is considered one to the most desirable towns in the country and because of this, $1 million will only buy you a modest home (older, 3 or 4 bedrooms, maybe 2 baths on a small lot). Pretty much all sections of Greenwich are nice to live in. Public schools in Greenwich are considered to be excellent (probably the best in the state) with students scoring well above the state averages in the Connecticut Mastery Test and reasonable class sizes (around 20 students per class). Greenwich is very convenient to both Stamford and New York city and has excellent parks and beaches. There is a wide variety of stores and restaurants as well as entertainment options. I know you will like it there. Good luck, Jay
