This is just heartbreaking! As a mother, myself, my heart goes out to all the parents who lost a child or even had a child attending the school, and to the family and friends of everyone lost or injured. Tragedies like this are becoming too common in this country. A terrible day for Connecticut, for New Jersey and for the U.S.

We need to put a stop to this. Elementary & Nursery schools are unfortunately such easy prey for disturbed individuals out there--The kids are totally helpless. We need to figure out a way to prevent this from happening again, or at least minimize the potential damage.
Is CT a lax CCW state? Perhaps we should arm some teachers...
Personally I belive there is an answer to all of this stuff going on that includes a lot more security, police, perhaps even military (we fight the war on terror in other countries and I can't think of anything more terrorizing then what we've seen just in the past week, let alone all year)

But that's a discussion that needs to be taken seriously on another day. Right now my prayers and thoughts are with everyone in CT.
God bless.

You'd think a building full of 600 children would have a security guard.
