"Pinsky's claim says the state Board of Education, the state Department of Education and the education commissioner failed to take steps to protect the minor children from foreseeable harm."

Um, the doors were locked and the gunman shot his way inside. What exactly could the Board or school have done differently?

Pinsky said he hopes to review the evidence and prove that the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary were foreseeable.
"Usually a fellow like Adam Lanza would have been known as a potential problem to the police," Pinsky said.

If he had no criminal history, why would he have been known to the police?

This lawsuit sickens me, and the parents of 'Jill Doe' disgust me as much as the attorney does for agreeing to go along with it. Their child may be traumatized, but they still get to hug her every night. What a slap in the face to the families of the 20 deceased children.

I worked with a woman that actually said, "People just need to get over 9/11." This was on the fifth anniversary of that tragic day...When she walked away, we were speechless.

I don't know if people are going for the shock-value when thay make statements like this, or if they're truly that apathetic.

I didn't see it, but the Giants behavior as individuals and an org has been exemplary throughout.

I was also impressed at the Ct Post coverage today, with their lead headline simply 12-14-12, and an excellent summary of the day through the eyes of 5 key individuals involved.

The people we should worry about are those who do get over events like 9/11 or 12/14.

I read that. It was really a good write-up, and very sad.

If anyone would like to donate to the police officers who have not yet returned to work, a woman in Shelton is collecting Walmart gift cards to help the families of the officers. There are between 10-20 officers that have not yet returned to work from not only Newtown, but surrounding towns as well. Newtown's chief will determine which officers should are in need.

You can read the story here: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/...212025975.html
