I am moving to West Hartford, CT and my 8-year-old son will be enrolled at Whiting Lane. He is on the waiting list for the before/after school care at the school. I'm a single working parent, so I need options that could transport him to/from the school. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. Thanks!

I agree with Jay. Just google daycare centers in West Hartford and many will pop up. Most with before/after school care that have the buses pick the kids up from the daycare in the am and drop them back off in the pm.

You might be able to find him a person who is running a small home daycare in the Whiting Lane area. You could drop him off and pick him up from her home, and she takes the kids to and from school. Ask at the school office - they might know. Place an ad in the Whiting Lane newsletter - it goes home with every kid, and gets emailed to every address. That way he'd have school friends to play with, and wouldn't have to take a bus.
