Slipperman, here's the "spotter reports" for Middlesex County. Wide range, so hard to tell for Middletown:

...MIDDLESEX COUNTY...
EAST HADDAM 35.5 845 AM 2/09 PUBLIC
CLINTON 27.5 800 AM 2/09 PUBLIC
HIGGANUM 24.0 700 AM 2/09 AMATEUR RADIO
CROMWELL 23.0 700 AM 2/09 AMATEUR RADIO
OLD SAYBROOK 20.0 400 AM 2/09 CT DOT

Here's another "stuck cars" photo, I think this is the one for the LIE in Suffolk County, LI between exits 63 and 64:

I don't understand this. In Norwalk our trucks were out before the snow started pre-treating the roads, during the storm, and all throughout the night. And I don't get why Fairfield and north of I95 hasn't been plowed.

Roads in Stratford won't be clear for 24-48 hours. I live on a road that is almost always clear and there's at least 18" on the street.

Winds are gusting to 40mph causing whiteout in some spots.. This road was plowed so all that is drift from the wind.
