I have been watching different phone companies. MetroPCS has 4G in that area and is cheap 40$ text and message unlimited and 500Mb 4G.
I have read comments about that and the people says that they have really 4G.

Interesting, I work on Tresser, I'll keep a look out for it. I wonder if it's coming from the train station (most logical place to start it, IMO). I'll take a walk Monday to find out.

I just coughed up the ETF to leave Sprint yesterday because the service continually gets worse. Multiple times I've been stranded by Sprint because I would take a wrong turn in an unfamiliar place, only to find that I didn't have a data connection and therefore no maps (oftentimes my phone would read 4-5 bars but no data would come through). The service is tolerable in Hartford county but once you approach the shoreline or NYC it is hopeless. Last month I was stranded at JFK airport for 9 hours and even at 3-4 am I couldn't get a single phone call or text message through. I've been a loyal Sprint customer for over 10 years but finally made the move to a prepaid AT&T plan. It's a huge breath of fresh air! Now I get 4G speeds everywhere I go, and the price is quite competitive as Sprint's cost has crept up over the years.

Stay AWAY from Sprint!

Depends what price you're in at I suppose. I get unlimited everything at $57/mo. Not really complaining except for the 4G. Good 3G in most areas of FFC.
