Yes, look for a place near either train station in Fairfield. If you can find something walkable, even better.

Yeah. The horror.

I thought we were talking about students from Bridgeport.

I guess that's just code for black.

In any case, the result at Staples is much better. All of the students from Bridgeport but one graduated my year. I undertand the results are similar now.

Did the big bad kids from New Haven force the nice suburban kids from Woodbridge to buy those drugs?

I don't think kid's post was confusing or code for anything. By the way Bridgeport is more Latino than black these days. But I appreciate the race baiting effort.

No race baiting here. Why would it be necessary when the racisim is so evident?

No, it's "code" for inner city vs adjacent suburb. And it's nothing new that inner city kids have behavioral issues due to questional goings on in the home. If you're attempting to deny that, then you've lost all credibility with regards to this topic.

But it's not the drug dealer's fault, it's the drug BUYERS fault. LOL. Right.

Also, you lived away from Westport for how many years? Don't pretend to know exactly what went on. I would assume that Staples put on the same front as Amity. Shhh.

I take great offense to that. Get off your high horse.

Isn't it equally both their fault? ( I assume we are not talking about heroin use or something where blaming the user gets a bit murkier )

And it's not like I imagine those "nice suburban kids" would somehow just not get/do drugs if those "big bad kids" from Bridgeport and New Haven weren't there. Besides, I've heard being one of those inner city kids who gets to go to Staples or Trumbull High is based on academics, not "lottery".

Gotta say I agree with you. I'm not aiming that at any one person in particular, though.

When my older kids were in elementary school, our town accepted several Bridgeport students. It was some kind of state requirement, our town didn't have a choice. Once enrolled the Bridgeport kids were allowed to continue their education in our town until they graduated high school. Right away the boys from Bridgeport created all sorts of problems in school, they were violent and disruptive in class. When I say violent, they would actually punch other kids in the face. They sit at their desk and just bang things around, ignore the teacher, throw things....These were young kids. At the time I was working part-time in the school and had to work with them. There were problems from time to time over the years, then came high school. One of the Bridgeport boys was arrested for burglarizing several homes in our town. I'm just grateful it was a very small percentage of students bused in from Bridgeport.

Actually in Amity's case, it was lottery.

But those poor little city kids are such victims. And when anyone questions the poor actions of a few of them, they're racist.

LOL. +1.
