Need suggestions for public preschools (with before & after care) or private preschools (as a backup if the public does not pan out) as we are looking to move to either Milford, Stratford, Shelton, Seymour area. We have a 4 year old son who would be in pre-K.

I have heard good things about Sedona, and it's in a beautiful location: Sedona Day Care and Learning Center

Friends of mine use Pumpkin Preschool in Shelton and rave about it.

Seymour has Country Bear and Kiddie Castle. I've only heard good things about both. In Shelton, there's St. Joseph's preschool. Pumpkin can be pricey.

My friends use Sedona (Stylo left a link), and they love it. It's a great location near downtown Milford.
