Looking for a recommendation on a painter in the Norwich area (for a small job--just a couple of rooms).

Also need to get rid of the carpet and install bamboo or hardwood in one room.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. People on this board have been great about other recommendations (attorney/mover, etc)...but still haven't found a painter or someone to do the floors. Really dont want to resort to asking around at the local Lowes/Home Depot for a recommendation...nor have I heard positive things about Angie's List.

Thank you in advance.

Go to a local paint or hardware store and ask if they got names of painters. Also ask at a local lumberyard if they have names of installers. Usually they do. Jay

you can save a ton of money by buying a couple gallons of paint and do it yourself. Some of these contractors charge a ton and think painting is a special skill.

Yes, you can do it yourself, but as the commercial says, you can't spell painting without PAIN.
