I should add that I live no where near this area. In fact I live at the exact opposite end of town. The facilty would not impact me in the least so I think I can be objective about it. Jay

There's enough empty/languishing industrial in this state that I can't conceive why this would be necessary.

Since its being relocated next to an already existing range, there should be no problem. The people who dont want it there already have an active range where shooting occurs. This spot is perfect for the range, little population in that area of town. Another alternate site could be the Nike missile site or admin building area for same, deeper in the Meshomasic forest.
