Interesting choice of location- I believe the exact location to be near the Ridgefield border on Rt 7, a former used car dealership. Very cool.

Wilton | Tesla Motors

This will be a service center not a dealership. Tesla sells cars over the internet and has elimited the middle man aka the dealership. Would be interesting if they will have a show room though and offer test drives. This would sound like a dealership however you wouldn't be able to go there, buy a car and drive it home. They'd probably help you order it and you'd have it delivered to your driveway.

Awesome. I've been seeing them everywhere, even in more middle class areas.

The S was a dime a dozen in San Francisco when I was out there.

Wilton is a good location though - more accessible to more wealthy areas in CT than, say, Greenwich.

It would be awkward to drive your S from Madison to Greenwich only to run out of juice from the bumper-to-bumper traffic.

So that's what I saw a couple of days ago!

I was shocked because I thought it was a Citroen, but they don't sell those cars in the USA. I was going to write 'on this side of the Atlantic,' but they do sell Citroen in various Latin American countries! Makes me wonder why they shun the USA, considering we are one of the largest markets for all sorts of vehicles in the world!

The logo seemed similar but not quite Citroen-ish. lol

Those Tesla's are quite nice looking cars!

You sound like PR for TSLA. Tesla does indeed have dealerships, just not independent franchises. Semantics. Their "showrooms" are Tesla owned and operated dealerships. From my source, Wilton is slated to be both a service center and showroom. Test drives here we come.

I would love to test drive one. Right now, I own the polar opposite as far as efficiency. I'm averaging 16MPG right now.

This is my favorite Tesla:

This car is simply out of this world! I'm seriously considering getting one!
