I agree don't see many empty storefronts in NYC. I'm more familiar with Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens though.

If you want to see empty store fronts visit Waterbury, CT

Are you keeping eyes glued to a phone while walking? The Atlantic

Third party sources are putting NYC commercial vacancy rate around 20% for street retail stores. That may be thriving vs the white flight 70s era but rising rents and the internet is driving many stores out of business.

I think 4br, but only one bathroom on the second floor. I think he dropped his price about $60k....no lookers. I think this is a common problem. People want to move but can't because there are no buyers in most of Connecticut.

In certain places I would agree..

I hear the same thing.. My friend lives in Proximity to FFU. Less than half mile. He mentioned there are 25 houses for sale near him. That doesn't sound good at all. Last time I went to see him ,about a month ago I saw many realty signs myself. Ct seems to be purging in myop.

I got clearance today to look for work in the Daytona Florida area. I actually found a position down there that is exactly what I do. That job does not exist in CT right now. If I can get the money close, we are out of here. Here field is available everywhere and if she can get 80% of what she gets we are good.
