Dows back up 4K in 3 days Roberto. 30K here we come just in time for November 3rd.

I'd love it, but I doubt it (come back), and not just in Ct, but nationally. At least in highly leveraged industries. I'd be quite happy if half or more came back, honestly.

It’s a dead cat bounce. Things are going to be shut down for months. At this point, I see nothing to stop the market from testing Great Recession lows. There will be no corporate profits in 2020. There will be a wave of Chapter 11 bankruptcies with a collapse of the bond market. Every state is going to have a budget crisis.

I think one fallout from this is public sector pension reform. Cities and states will be allowed to renegotiate their pension liabilities.

First thing, I'm not sure if this is a dead cat bounce... could be very much funds loading up on blue chips at these discounted prices during their readjustments. Or this could be something completely unseen before. Who knows.

Many Federal Judges are closing their courts completely except Grand Juries and Trials for Major Crimes. Bankruptcies are going to be low on the docket totem pole for many, many months which may be enough time for creditors and debtors to come to "understandings." Hard defaults on bonds and commercial paper was possible, but now the Federal Reserve is stepping in and buying books wholesale which should keep liquidity limping along.

But yeah, every state is going to be deep in the whole especially tourist reliant states like Nevada and Florida.

It's a dead cat bounce. We're going to see more of them the next few of months.

Social distancing was just extended through the end of April. Think the market will react to that?

Everyone's chomping at the bit to go out and live life again. When there's national consensus that the coronavirus is gone, the economy will absolutely skyrocket.

Hopefully - but how many doors will be shuttered for good at that time? It’s too bad.

The government should be funneling big money into mass antibody testing. It’s the only way we’ll get back to work.
