Some places get it in some places don't. I think a lot of it depends about how they really get paid and what they can do to attract Talent. For example I know of an organization that is literally looking for people to work for them for as little as 35 Grand with a bachelors. In Mass minimum wage is practically 30 grand so to make the argument you're only going to get 20% above minimum wage even though you have a degree isn't going to work. At the same point I recently found an organization hiring with a bachelors in 2 years and the range is 92,000 to 115,000! The difference is this other organization has very secure funding but it cannot issue stock so the only result is that they can increase compensation. It's harder to increase benefits because benefits are often in a group package.

One trap I tend to see though is those that are overqualified for a job that will give him the experience to get a job that's higher than what they are currently making.

I'm starting to see a fair amount just moved to Eastern Connecticut because the land is so much cheaper in the housing. Yes there's less people but you're going to be driving in Connecticut anyway so what's the difference?

Yeah we can talk about Yale to a point and some military bases here and there but it would not have the same amount of jobs.

Diversity helps economically but it can't be just selecting specific towns and cities for one thing in a given state, that's a bad policy and has always hurt in the long run. You have to have diversity WITHIN towns and cities.
I'll take it further. If not for Boston, southern NH would be an economic backwater akin to the some poorer southern states

Could you not say the same for many other places? What if cats barked and dogs meowed? That’s another useless hypothetical.

Exactly. It’s ridiculous to speculate something that is fictional. Jay

It will not occur until Q4 2023-construction delays, which are inflating the cost by $6 million.

I also heard that Fire Engine Pizza is finally going to open in the firehouse on Melba St. It was supposed to open in fall which isn't going to happen. They've owned it for 10 years now.

FFC county residents also moving to Dallas , Newport RI, Phoenix AZ, Boston, Denver area

In Connecticut, the wealthiest movers on average came from Fairfield County and moved to Palm Beach County, Fla. Palm Beach County is home to popular coastal cities like Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. The data showed that 418 different families totaling 778 people filed their 2019 taxes in Fairfield County and their 2020 taxes in Palm Beach County. That means over $327 million in income moved from Connecticut down to Florida, making the average income per person just over $421,000.

Fairfield County fills the top seven spots of where the wealthiest Connecticut movers came from. Four of Fairfield County movers’ destinations were all in Florida: Palm Beach County, Indian River County, Collier County and Miami-Dade County. From those four counties alone, over $546 million in income moved out of Fairfield County.

Only Tolland and Windham counties had their wealthiest movers move to a Massachusetts county.
