Hello all!

Trying to find a super-clean, caring, MODERN vet for our lovely but hyperthyroid pet -- we've tried two in the region and didn't particularly like either. The first was very abrupt and more interested in selling us some strange herbal medicine that we don't need (our pet is already on a special prescription diet for her condition), the second didn't treat our pet like a sentient being, more like a piece of furniture. Ugh.

Can any of you recommend an exceptional vet? We live in Madison, but would be happy to drive to Essex, Old Saybrook, etc., if it meant better vet care.

Thank you!

Try the Clinton Vet Hospital on CT RT 145 in Clinton. 860-669-2850. Ask for Drs. Price or Ciok.

If not there, then Shoreline Animal Hospital, also in Clinton ( on West Main St. ) 860-669-9374

Hm - one of those was one of the ones we didn't like, but perhaps the other.

Thank you, Willow Wind!

Any others, anyone?
