Agreed. My hometown is a former French colony. It's as good as authentic French bakers from back home. Same craftsmanship. I spent about 30 minutes looking at things
If I lived in Fairfield, I'll go often.
I'm gonna have to check out great cakes in Westport too. Possibly all of the names mentioned in this thread.

Went today. It was solid but honestly still a 2nd place to Scratch for me. My girlfriend agreed and actually made the comparison first. It might be that I prefer less rich sweet-wise.
I'm going to have to try Scratch on my next trip down and see what I think. Already been to Isabelle et Vincent twice, and what I've tried has been good so far.
Don't get me wrong, it was good - but Scratch is magic much of the time. I will be back to I&V at some point to try more. Maybe if I came there earlier in the day it would've been better.
I went to I & V again over the weekend and feasted on a lot of things. My, my, my, even their frosting tastes unique and different. I'm gonna do scratch next weekend
