Dude, that housing is a safe investment is 80s school of thought. Barring the uber-rich, many in FFC are sitting under negative equity.

The problem is you, Nep. If you come to realize that, things will get easier in a hurry.
I mean, the apartment itself is nice, yes. But I still want to move out of it when the lease expires in May. It's just way too noisy here. All I hear all the time are trucks, cars, beeping....it's nerve wracking.

You all need to ask yourself, how you would feel if you were stuck living somewhere that you didn't really like? And would you attempt to leave at some point?

That should be the question at hand; however in your case it is not relevant as you are never happy or satisfied. There are none so blind as those that will not see.

I think you need to ask yourself, how many times have you been right so far, on this roller coaster of a journey?

Not many.

Maybe it's time to start listening to the wisdom of others...unless of course you want to stay on this merry-go-round of always having something that needs to be changed. You're always scrambling to fix something, or change a circumstance...but still always setting yourself up for the next struggle. You can never just be still. That, nep, is a sign of something much bigger underneath the surface. And I hope you will find the help for that.

I said it before and I will say it again, you need to hook up with someone and that will make everything else tolerable. But this is assuming they can put up with your whining. Eh, who knows, there probably is someone for everyone out there.

I enjoy nep's threads. He's a strange and yet interesting personality.

Okay....so then how do I find the help for that, if you say that's the problem?

Plus, I think you're being a bit of a hypocrite. Wasn't it you who was originally from FFC, then moved to Vernon for a while, didn't like it, and ended up moving back to Westport? Yet for me, you're advising me against moving back to my home metro area.
