I was recently in a car accident and was wondering if there are any excellent body shops in southern CT, New Haven area and west. I was looking at North Haven auto body as they seem to get good reviews and are professional. Can anyone help me out? I have a Honda.

Mike's Collision in Danbury. Best I've ever been to, hands down. Super honest. I've trusted Porsche's, Corvette's, etc. with them.

I don't think they'll be interested in doing the repair: //www.city-data.com/forum/31829194-post8.html.

Here's a vote for North Haven Auto. They are FANTASTIC. I had two vehicles fixed there in the past few years and everything from their customer service to their work was excellent. They also have an Enterprise on site if you need a rental.

If you have a '99 Civic (with mileage) and it's drivable, just take the insurance check and run the car into the ground. Might not even be worth fixing.

Oh, HELL NO!!!!!

They botched my car so badly that my insurance company let me take it to another body shop to have it redone properly.

Not even for a 14 year-old car. NO. NO. NO.

This is the only body shop that i explicitly tell people to stay away from.

Right. But some shops will still decline the job because they don't want to deal with trying to make a used repair part, or a really cheap aftermarket part, fit properly.
