Hi FC,

Your dog is going to LOVE it here. We had a huskie growing up and he could not wait to get outside when it was cold. He loved to sit in the snow curled up in a ball. I think you and your spouse will like the area also. My husband's cousin lived in the Mystic/Stonington area and she loved it there. We do too.

I don't think you will have problem renting a house in that area. I also think that you will not have a hard time finding a job if you have computer skills. People with good computer skills are needed everywhere.

I saw some posters on here say that you might want to look west of Groton and that might be a good idea. I live in Trumbull and 3 out of my 6 immediate neighbors commute to New Haven for jobs that require computer skills. They either work at Yale New Haven Hospital or for Yale University.

Welcome to CT and Good Luck!

As a Navy corpsman, your wife is not provided with Navy housing?
