Most of those communities are pretty residential, with single-family homes as far as I know. I can't think of any that would have a lot of apartment choices. Maybe somebody else can think of one.

The towns in between are Middlebury, Naugatuck, Southbury, Oxford, Newtown, Brookfield, and Bethel. Naugatuck is probably the closest to what you're looking for.

That's going to be tough. Plenty of bedroom communities - Southbury, Oxford, Middlebury,Monroe, Bethel, Newtown, etc. But nowhere in those bedroom communities are you going to find anything like the Westlake area of Middletown .

Most of your rental housing possibilities are going to be in Waterbury & Danbury. There will be other rentals of course in the towns along RT 84, but not the stretches of apartment complexes similar to the towns you noted.

Brookfield has an a luxury apartment complex near the Danbury line, about 1/2 a mile north of Raymour and Flangan. Aside from that, there aren't really any apartment complex's I can think of. Mostly single family homes. There might be a couple of private owned condos that may be available for lease.

Bethel has a decent number of rentals, but some aren't that accessible to 84. Parts of Brookfield, too. Mostly condos/townhouses though. That's pretty much all you'll find all the way up. It's a pretty sparsely developed area and mostly single family homes on larger lots.

Naugatuck is the closest you will find to Middletown in this part of the state.

There are a handful of apt complexes in Woodbury but I only know of one that is somewhat convenient to 84 and can't think of what it's called, it's off of route 64 near the Middlebury line.

The towns along that section of I-84 are not the most densely developed and are certainly nothing like Middletown, Hamden or Vernon. I do not know of any rental complexes in that area. You would have to look in Danbury itself. Your best bet maybe looking for a condo for rent since there are a few complexes there. Jay
