Has anyone noticed the 'monster' on route 2 around exit 12 westbound? It's made from traffic cones and is right next to a sign telling you to slow down. Very cool looking. Wanted to snap a photo of it but apparently the strong winds today knocked it over.

Also at the 84/384 interchange, someone managed to graffiti '911 truth' on the big green sign. How are people managing to do , considering the sign must be 30 feet up and is in the middle of a very busy 12 lane freeway?

Yah, I have no idea how people graffiti bridges and signs on a highway without becoming road kill.

Here's the 'monster' I'm referring to on Route 2. Pretty cool, IMHO. The message says "obey the orange".

I laughed out loud the first time I saw the monster!

That 9/11 Truth guy must be the bane of CT DOT's existence. They probably have a dedicated crew just to clean up his graffiti. As soon as they clear one spot, it shows up in another.

Yeah, and the DOT workers can't work on an overhead sign without closing the lanes (for good reason), so it needs to be fixed in the middle of the night and still causes traffic backups.

I would like to see this but I only go up that way every few weeks. How long till DOT cleans it up you think?
