Radar and Metars on left. Temps aloft (shaded) and surface temps (numbered) on right. I forgot to factor in the winds. So it's going to feel like mid 20s and snowing. lol.

And.....now... changed to snow here. Fat flakes until whole column of air cools down enough. JFK now reporting snow too.

A winter type radar and wind chills in the 20s out there. Those are some heavy snow bands!

Radar update and wind gusts. Meriden, Hartford, BDL now reporting snow falling. I think some folks will be in for a surprise waking up.

12:30am, BDR hasn't reported snow yet. Meanwhile White Plains and even NYC has with areas showing accumulations already. LOL I wish we had more records of BDR back to 1800s.

Anyone out there surprised? I got snow on roofs, some grassy areas, deck and walkways. Less than 1/2" here.

Current temps and wind chills. Wow. Feels like 17 Danbury. 20 BDL. 22 at the coast.

April snow folks. Seems like we're seeing earlier and later snows across the lower 48 in recent years.

Sounded more like sleet and rain. There are tiny patches of just a dust but nothing much. Chilly in the house but no heat on.
