Impressive how much the radar is expanding over Fairfield County. No warnings out either.

That's it. Took matters in my own hand. Covered the still small pepper plants. Usually do this for cold air, not rain but enough is enough now. If we had sun or wind in between its fine but I don't remember the sun for more than 3 hours in like a week now. lol

The front is pushing east. Look to the west. This weekend looks awesome. Maybe a few clouds/showers very early a.m tomorrow. Everyone get out there and enjoy it.

You should use (The National Weather Service) weather.gov to get your weather.

I'm still trying to figure out the claim about 6 weeks in a row with dewpoints near 80. Lol
Sunday is the best day based on cloud cover. Saturday just scattered showers as clouds become less and less. Clearing is near. Finally!

Nice weekend, enjoy it guys.

Interesting...

So far this June Islip, NY has 1.61" of rain which is -0.51" below normal, while across the way at Sikorski they have 3.32" so far which is +1.49 (27th wettest). Only about 30 miles across.

I have 4.07".

Look at the precip departures so far! Outside NYC metro its pretty much below normal. I'm blaming the traffic! LOL

Current Dewpoints 8:40amEST. No rain in sight from MA to south Georgia. Some drizzles here and there but all in all it's looking good so far! Maybe some summer time convection later with scattered popups. FINALLY SUN! Enjoy.

Still muggy East coast but dry to West

Sun will be out soon. What a forecast! Get out there and enjoy the weekend. No humidity with winds out of the North/Northwest.

Look at these overnight lows!
