3 days of this heat is too long. All a matter of preference. If it wasn't for my garden I'd go insane. lol

-------------------

Current temps and radar. Feels like 90° in northern CT while temps in the mid-upper 60s in Southeastern CT

But I will point out.. Connecticut seems to escape real thick of summer in a sense. Take a look at the heat index out there.
Take Indiana or Illinois for instance. Entire state feeling like 90s. While CT has 60s mixed in and mostly 80s.

Not only appreciate the season changes but we Gotta appreciate being the ocean as well.

I probably feel an overdose of pain during the winters. You know, I feel my own pain and then on top of that the extra pain that most of you guys don't feel.

I don't know why people are talking about the horrible winter at this time of the year. Lets enjoy the summer without constant reminders that in a few months it will go downhill again.

Too bad. Today was a preview of what its going to be like on a regular basis soon, probably worse. Dew points and humidity really do make all the difference. Can't even open windows here at night in the summer unless you want humidity higher in your house

But I learned no matter how cold winter is or how hot summer is, its pretty much over in a couple months.

Any guess how many states can actually claim that? Maybe there's plenty but even NJ they've gotten summer weather way before us so spring was cut short I think.

I just like to see my garden grow. Everything else is pointless this time of year.

You seem like a guy who would want to live in Alaska, maybe even Greenland or where the high temp is -15F.

I had doors and windows and shades closed all day. Horrible way to live. But it kept the house cooler longer. A/C kicked on in the afternoon. But yeah, as soon as you let the hot air in temps spike big time inside then you waste more electric because the unit has to work harder.

No, it wont be regular basis. We'll be going through breaks thankfully which is normal. But Yeah... this is typical for us and we'll be seeing it soon again. Maybe early July

Yes.. Very comfortable and would love that. Or let me rephrase...I wouldn't mind at all.

Here's tomorrows max temp forecast. Looks like Upton thinks 90s for just away from the coast but not too far interior.

I haven't used any A/C yet-- half my house is in the ground and it stays cool.

Looks like the heat is short lived and we are back to 70's and 50's by the weekend. The weekend looks awesome. Very similiar to last weekend. Low dews and cool at night.

I just moved to the CT/NYC area from up in the UK...and man they are not kidding when the say the East Coast is like he tropics in summer!

It's only 7:00 am and already it's 77 F at my house in New Haven, I can remember Leeds would only get to maybe 80 F on a handful of days each summer. Today might be the first time I ever experienced 90 F temps and tropical humidity. They said the heat and humidity combo will make it fell like 100 F. It's s kind of exciting in a way, I feel like I'm in New Orleans lol.
