Nothing to say. Flashbacks of winters we waited and waited and waited then all of a sudden it was end of February and March was here.

Latest EURO12z just out...

Christmas Eve Strong storm over Kentucky ready to bomb out. See all those yellows and greens for us? That's Warmth. Storms spin counter clockwise so whenever a storm cuts to Great lakes, we get warm and rain and wind.

Heck, this time of year even the light blues are practically warm/normal.

Christmas Day. BOMBS AWAY. Friggin absolute bomb over Great Lakes. Blizzard for Great Lakes area.. Michigan gets slammed. Everyone will be stuck. 966mb low? Come on!!

Notice now that the storm is futher north cold air comes diving in behind it. We are under the blues now Christmas Day. Cold with Scattered snow showers.

Guess what... Another storm cutting to Great Lakes Saturday and a High off the Eastern Seaboard.. More warm and rain.

Done. Forget it. Give up. Not our year. I have no other vision for this winter. I've been blinded. Taking a break from the net, otherwise I'll just be ranting each day

What happened yesterday ..has nothing to do with what is happening today. What happens today has nothing to do with what happens in 2 weeks. We could be ice cold and snowy. All that talk about a brutally cold winter when October was way below normal....

I hate to be happy at your expense Cambium, BUT I am VERY happy with this kind of weather since its perfect for flying IFR with the freezing level to the moon!!

Out of 29 yrs that Bridgeport,CT had less than 3.5" of snow in December, only 3 of those ended up with above normal snow for season. (+28.8"). 1973-74. 1992-93. 1993-94.

How is that for odds? Need 3"+ within 10 days to beat the odds

Agreed. Move south if you don't want snow in winter.

Not totally true. Many times a "pattern" gets entrenched and it lasts all winter long
