Looked at the raw data and saw the Euro similar to GFS saying multiple days of precip. Euro is all snow, GFS has ice/mix involved.

Here's the Euro..

Basically a polar front sets up south of New England Sun. (that means we're on the cold side north of blue line)

Moisture rides along the front so that means snow. Monday morning the front is still to the south and moisture still around then a storm develops off the coast Monday night so more snow Tuesday possible.

That means maybe 3 days of Snow/Snowshowers 4 some. Lets call it..."unsettled" weather right now.

Snow keeps me young, excited and strengthens my body; cold keeps me healthy, energized, and motivated to keep going.
Get one of the cheapo electric ones (125 bucks).. I bought a few for family members and they couldn't be happier!

This is pretty far out. What's the certainty that there will be a storm? I'm not talking specific amounts obviously. I just mean that this storm will hit us.

Medium to high IMO because of the way the front is setting up off the coast. Either its going to be a bunch of snow waves along the front OR a couple of waves then the storm develops off the coast (like has been lately) and dumps more snow. Something definitely happening in this time range... just not sure what yet.

Say hello to the Top 20 BDR.

Big moves up the rankings by Northeast sites. Top 20 snowfall departures of all Climo sites in the U.S.

  • Bangor with a big move to have the biggest snowfall departure to date over 4 feet above normal!
  • Islip in Top 10 being 22.4 inches above normal to date!
  • Worcester with 72.6" for the season is now 3rd most
  • Bridgeport 16.3 inches above normal is 11th most
  • LaGuardia 14 inches above normal is 16th most
This includes Western sites and Alaska. All U.S NWS Climo sites that report snow.

Hey cam...remember all those posts you made about below normal snowfall in dec/majority of jan = way below normal snowfall?

I guess we had an exception this year, eh?
