Current radar and temps.

Binghamton reporting light snow, Atlantic City, NJ heavy rain feeling like 38°

Heavier batch of rain heading into Fairfield county now. Mid 30s and rain in some spots. I wonder if the higher hills are seeing mix precip. Maybe Mt Bear. We need a webcam up there.

Accuweather Graphics for the snowstorm. No doubt snow is going to happen for us. Question is how much and how strong. Thinking it starts early Thursday morning. Morning & Evening Commutes might be horrible. I'm planning around Thursday already

Thursday Snowstorm to Affect Large Part of Northeast

Love NWS long range forecast...chance snow Wed, Thurs, Fri..in other words, it'll snow but don't ask us any details. I think that is the best method actually. No pinpoint, no numbers , no nothing..until it gets clearer.

You really can't pinpoint numbers for a snow Thursday on Sunday. The science has not evolved enough for that. With that being said, by Tuesday numbers can be mentioned and has a decent chance for accuracy. Anybody giving specific totals now is just speculating.

The rest of NWS Maine and most of NWS Albany are on the same page now. Still waiting on New York, though haha! Reading New York's discussion, they are just too uncertain at this point, especially with the models.

Albany nws is Still calling for 3-5 inches for pittsfield, ma and 1-3 inches for nw ct. I don't see it. Precip looks to be wrapping up and rain/snow line never made it south of vt border yet. Only higher elevations in vermont saw snow.
