New Britain barely got anything either. Maybe that's why Hartford County only had a special weather statement issued and no more. (Phew!)

We should be good for awhile but I just saw one of those Facebook weather blogs saying the GFS is now showing something in the March 11-16 time frame?

Cambium, any thoughts on this?

After keeping my roof all nice and clear all winter, this last snow / rain /snow combo platter has made it one big ass ice dam.

Screw it, I give up.

Me too. Been religiously roof raking but still had to have the roofer come and remove it all. PITA.

lol, same here. I actually had 50% of roof showing on the south sunny side, this last one killed it with the rain, then the half foot of snow. Now there's a layer of ice underneath..

But on top of 1hr of sleep and 2 hrs of shoveling driveway, mailbox area, walkway, porch, deck and dog paths, I couldn't stop there... I knew yesterday I had to rake the roof since it was fluff snow. The worst was knowing I had to re-shovel the area below all over again. Then after that the City plow came through and blocked my driveway and mailboxes. Another winter to build strength and immunity or just collapse and forget cleaning anything. lol

the sun today will easily melt the thin layer of sleet and ice on roof. I can't even touch the existing pack. There's compaction, 3 layers of ice, and heavy stuff. Forget it. Over a foot.

Interesting conversation at work today. A coworker that lives in Hebron says he got 5 inches of snow, yet neighboring Glastonbury and Hartford got nothing more than a dusting. Big difference for such a short distance. Jay
