Normal amount of times BDR hits 60°+ in April is 11. Most was 21 in 2010. Yikes. Least was 3 in 1966. I will say they hit it 7 times this month.

2 for 2?

For Bridgeport(BDR) Jan-Feb-Mar was the Snowiest AND the coldest on record. Nobody younger than 67 yrs old experienced a Jan through March like what we just had.

For Hartford area it was the Coldest on record and 9th snowiest.

Good to point out that the record warmest Jan-Feb-Mar period was just 3 yrs ago, HOWEVER, the warmest top didn't come from the coldest bottom. So these cold drops last 3 years have been more impressive than the warm spike. Very abrupt like cold.
