No major changes with it. Here's what it shows for snow depth by Friday afternoon. Keep in mind the 10:1 ratio with this so add few inches to it.

Danbury & BDL Data from the GFS12z.

We had temps in the teens & snow just 2 weeks ago as well. More liquid this time

Look at those temps! Friday morning single digits and snowing with wind chills below zero. It's not often in CT we can say that

Cam ,what do you think about the ride in and home on Thursday? Should I chance the ride in and leave early on Thursday or will it be snowing enough in the AM to try and take the day off? In other words.......will commute suck Thursday AM and PM and Friday AM?

It was an answer to a question posed in a previous post.

A lot ahead of us according to NWS New York:

Hazardous Weather Outlook: NEW YORK NY (Southern CT, NE NJ, SE NY)
Quote:
831 AM EST TUE DEC 31 2013

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED WITH A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE
LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING. A FEW OF THESE COULD BE
IN THE FORM OF SNOW SQUALLS...PRODUCING BRIEF WHITE OUT CONDITIONS
IN HEAVY SNOW AND STRONG WINDS.

ANY AREA EXPERIENCING A SNOW SQUALL WILL HAVE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH
FREEZE CONDITIONS.
TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY START OUT AROUND OR
JUST ABOVE FREEZING...THEN DROP AS A SLUSHY COATING OF SNOW
FALLS...DROPPING FURTHER INTO THE 20S IN THE WAKE OF THE SQUALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOW IS EXPECTED LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY MORNING. AT LEAST 6 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE...WITH
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW DUE TO STRONG WINDS.

CONTINUE TO MONITOR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTS AS SOME
UNCERTAINTY STILL EXISTS IN EXACT TRACK OF THE LOW PRESSURE AND
PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS.

BITTERLY COLD CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED IN THE WAKE OF THE
STORM FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. WIND CHILLS OF 5 TO 15 DEGREES
BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND THEN ONCE AGAIN
FRIDAY NIGHT.

The models are still trying to come together so things can still change, but in general, folks closer to MA have a better shot at 12". And also the NAM doesn't really mean much this far out, so don't bother with that. If they gave 12" to everybody last run, I would be just as skeptical (the NAM crapped out last run if you weren't following it).

Even NWS are trying to iron out stuff. This surely isn't an easy storm for meteorologist to forecast:
