Stamford already has three stations if you include the New Canaan line. However if Greenwich can have 4 just on the main line, Stamford deserves more than one. Parking is a nightmare and only going to deteriorate when the garage comes down. Even if there was sufficient parking, the traffic pattern can't support the volume. East side station makes perfect sense. Perhaps even under 95.

The new station won't have parking , it will be a community station.

Stamford has three stations without including New Canaan. You forgot the Glenbrook Station.

Edited to add: Never mind. I read New Canaan and not New Canaan line. LOL

That's quite nice. This is the first time I see this concept.

I hope it includes expanding East Main Street between the Taco Bell and the Toyota dealership area, because that stretch definitely needs to be widened. The traffic jam that forms there every afternoon is diabolical and with the extra train station its going to get worse.
