I'm glad it's letting up since I'm sure some people are still out working or have to go to work. I came home around 11:20 and visibility was only the distance between light posts on I84W from Hartford to Rt 72. Fortunately there weren't many cars and most people stayed around 40 mph.

Maybe we have 8" in Terryville, it's too crazy windy for an accurate measure.

There another round of Snow tonight into early friday morning bring in 4-6"

Friday into Saturday up to 6" possbile

According to AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson, "As the storm swings out over the Atlantic Ocean late Friday night and Saturday, it is likely to strengthen."

How much strengthening occurs will determine how much snow falls and how strong winds get over Long Island, southeastern New England and the Maritimes.
Major cities that have a chance at receiving a period or two of accumulating snow from the new storm include St. Louis, Cincinnati, Knoxville, Tenn., Roanoke, Va., Pittsburgh, Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston.
Despite the piling on nature of the storms of late, there is light at the end of the tunnel for warm weather fans.

About eight inches of absolutely beautiful powder here in Glastonbury! Though I fear a wintery mix has started (frozen rain and snow).

This snow is bordering on ridiculous here. Snowing like mad and have a good 18 to 24 inches on patio and front porch from the past week.

Currently whiteout conditions and windy too! Heaviest snow so far.⛄️

Very heavy snow for sure. Had that cool blue tint to it again. I just got done shoveling out my car and my neighbors. All clear and ready for whatever falls tonight......I shoveled to the pavement with not a spec of snow where I park so whatever falls tonight is a lot less to shovel tomorrow morning. I didn't measure but I would estimate 9-12"?
