There is a program called "Aerial America" available on netflix. They do aerial views of the state along with narration. They have other states as well such as California.

I watched the CT one this weekend and it was pretty good. They spent a lot of time on the shoreline including a good segment on the Thimble Islands. I never knew there's actually houses on some of the islands.

The narrator was not from CT since he mispronounced "Housatonic." He pronounced it as "house-a-tonic" whereas the local way is "whose-a-tonic."

They made a few strange choices too. For instance, they noted the Mohegan Tribe and their casino, but no mention of the Mashantucket.

They noted "Dudley Town" and the legend of the black dog in Meriden.

I watched this on the Smithsonian channel about a year ago. Pretty good, have seen most of their Aeriel America episodes. Very cool.
