So there'll now be 3 outlet malls within a 30 mile (?) of stretch of I-95?

Isn't there one going up in East Hartford, as well (adjacent to the football stadium), in addition to the one planned at the casino?

Speaking of outlets - has anyone here visited the Le Crueset store @ Clinton (I think that's where it is?). Anyway, I've gotten a few awesome deals at Home Goods on Le Crueset pieces (a large braiser and 9 qt Dutch oven for around $140 a piece). Wondering if there are better deals to be had at their outlet store, or if it's not really worth the trip (I would be coming from the Danbury area). Thanks.

I have gotten some great deals at their outlet. It's all about timing. Sometimes they'll do bigger sales and that's when it's a really good deal.

Thanks. And is it definitely at the Clinton outlets? I wasn't sure of exact location, but I do know there's one somewhere in CT.

Wait, what? The increased tax income would more than pay for a couple officers. The outlet mall will have its own paid security.

Do we have outlet malls now planning to open in West Haven, Cheshire and Foxwoods?

Foxwoods outlets will open in a couple of months. The West Haven shops are in the planning stage. I am not sure where Cheshire stands. I think the planned operator has backed away. Jay.

They will be adding an outdoor amphitheater to this mall. Seems like they want it to be more of an attraction rather than just a mall.

Cheshire has the green light, I believe they've already broken ground as well. Think it's supposed to be an Evergreen Walk clone.
