Jammed: L.A., San Francisco tops in traffic misery

Unless CT was integrated with NYC (like some do), we are clear of the top 10! The article was from June 4, 2014, even though the article said 2013 . That said, why would they post a 2014 article from 2013?

Full List (Worst Traffic):
1. Los Angeles
2. San Francisco
3. Honolulu
4. Seattle
5. San Jose
6. New York City
7. Miami
8. Washington DC
9. Portland
10. New Orleans

Best Traffic:
1. Kansas City
2. Indianapolis
3. Cleveland
4. Richmond
5. Birmingham
6. Milwaukee
7. St Louis
8. Raleigh
9. Phoenix
10. Cincinnati

We are in the middle somewhere. Better than the top 10!

Looks like it's just major metros. My guess is FFC was averaged into NYC.

Nothing has changed since then. The lists probably have different methodology for regions.

umm, CT has one of the best savings rates in the country?

wikipedia has CT #1, followed by Minn, NJ and Mass

I would guess CT is grouped with NYC. I lived in the Stamford area for 28 years and felt claustrophobic sometimes with all of the 95 traffic. Merritt is bad but not as bad. It became lighter at the peak of the recession but now, it's worse than ever.

If CT savings is high then why are people feeling pinch from high cost of living?

For the last few months, the traffic has been the worst I've seen on 95 in the last 4 years, on a consistent basis.

People are feeling the pinch everywhere, not just in CT.
