Hey, CT people. I've heard bad things about Reservoir Ave in Bridgeport, but how are things once you cross the Merritt, up toward White Plains Rd in Trumbull? Thanks in advance.

It is not bad north of the parkway but still I would be cautious. Jay

Honestly, if you're looking for an "affordable" section of Trumbull, the Huntington Turnpike/Beardsley Parkway area is much better than Reservoir. It doesn't matter if you're "north of the parkway" on Reservoir. The cr*p that slithers in and out of Trumbull Gardens will still be passing by your home to a certain extent.

It's less about needing a particular part of town for affordability and more about wanting to be as far SW for commute reasons. I do occasionally see nicely renovated homes in the area, so I wanted to check given the reputation!

Meh.

I think i would be looking west of Main Street, or better still, west of Madison, if i wanted SW Trumbull.

BTW, please tell me you're not talking about this house. It's overlisted. It will never appraise for that amount.

I like that house, but I totally agree that it's way overlisted. I'd never pay that.

How is the area around Madison?
