Any list that has Simsbury as a walkable and bikable place to live is incredibly disingenuous.. I hope nobody uses that list to decide to move there for that reason.

The criteria used are laughable. Any list that puts my town (New Fairfield) or a Sherman on basic par with a Stamford or Waterbury as far as walkability goes, needs to be torn up and thrown in the garbage. My town officials apparently responded to the questionnaire, and for that NF was awarded 5 points in each category -- 5 points for saying "no" we don't have any sort of walking/biking plans in place! Stamford and Waterbury apparently ignored the survey & never responded, and for that both cities scored zero in each category. Dumb list...

Have you been to the town center recently? It is VERY walkable & bikeable. The free bike program and the Farmington Valley trail passing right through it are huge assets.
