Found an awesome site, posting in this thread too. Norwalk Public Library : Online Collections

Wallstreet, Norwalk, CT 1915

"A double postcard showing a black and white panoramic view of Wall St., taken from the intersection of Main St. and Wall St. At the extreme left is the west side of Main St., with the Boston Store on the corner. To the right of the Boston Store is the north side of Wall St., reaching eastwards past the trolley car barn. There are early cars and horse-drawn traffic in the street, and a policeman standing at the corner."

Marvin's Farm - East Norwalk. 1910

"A tinted view of the Marvin farm in East Norwalk. The men are haying in a field, with an ox-drawn cart on left of picture, and a horse and cart in the center. There are farm buildings in the background"

I probably said it here before, but the New Britain Public Library has an excellent collection of historic photos of New Britain and surrounding areas like Hartford. If you want to check it out, I would call first since I'm unsure of their schedule.

If you don't wanna go thru all of that stop by Capital Lunch they have some historic photos of New Britain on the wall, and don't forget to grab at least 6 cappie dogs while there.

I heard Old Newgate Prison in East Granby re-opened. We're out of state, but maybe someone could get some shots of it.
