It was 3.00 at Costco in Milford yesterday. 2.70 when I was in South Jersey a couple weeks ago.

10 Gallons @ $3.40 = $34.00

10 Gallons @ $3.00 = $30.00

People getting happy or mad about $4 ?

And yeah, should be fun looking back at this thread in the future at the Lowes development and the gas prices.

While I agree, every one cent decrease in gas prices adds $1.4 billion to the broader economy.

That's not why gas costs more in Fairfield County, it's zone pricing. As a Fairfield County resident, you have the pleasure of paying more for lots of things, including gas.

If you're in FFC, you just have to accept the higher costs or I don't know what to tell you. But I was really referring to that gas has come down so much, when was the last time we've seen these prices? I was paying around 3.90 for regular maybe 3-4 months ago and would get happy when it went down to the 3.75 area.

Its just you. lol. I haven't found it to go either way, I think prices are pretty similar give or take a few cents. If anything it would be the other way around. Lowes more expensive because they have better quality stuff.

I complained to the Home Cheapo manager the other day and walked down a few isles with him. I just said these words... "how can you resell opened or re-taped packages & used products?". What a disaster that place is. I don't want to even mention the lumber.

We can only hope Lowes drives HD to closing and they take down the airport like setup and open up a Christmas Tree shop or something.
