Ignoring those outliers, it seems like prices in lower FFC are hovering just under $3 per gallon, when the majority of the country is paying nearly $1 per gallon less. It must be infuriating to still be paying $3 per gallon while sitting in gridlock. I really don't see how people do it.
2.63 in Danbury. I know it gets even cheaper here.
2.79 in Newtown. There's a gas station or two that crossed $5 or close to that when we were flirting with $4, lol! Probably the same ones. There's one on Route 25 heading towards Monroe, I believe. Other in Dodgingtown.

That certainly can't have been at the Shell in East Glastonbury. They have the highest prices I have seen anywhere around the state. Still $2.37 anywhere in Glastonbury says a lot. Prices here always seem to be higher than other towns. Are the prices on the Berlin Turnpike close to $2 now? They usually are the lowest. Jay

Believe it or not, I saw the $2.53/$2.59 price in Old Saybrook last week and then went up to the Berlin Turnpike later that day and the lowest prices there were $2.63 cash or credit.
There is a Citgo and an independent gas station right across from it on the Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill - near West Street and farther south than the retail areas, but not quite in Cromwell - that often have very good prices, too.
The Stop & Shop gas station on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury usually is one of the cheaper places in Glastonbury - or, it used to be.
