Well despite my selfish question this is an all-CT forum and it seems some part of the state will get hit hard so still a worthy forum thread.

After shoveling for 3 hours today (still not done), I've decided to invest in a snowblower.

Some of the models were showing 35 inches of snow widespread. So that map definitely doesn't represent that.

Euro update at 1am will be interesting

Anyone who doesn't is crazy. I NEVER understood people that owned homes in new england and didn't get a snow blower.

Well I lived in a Granby condo for ten years then moved to Mississippi for two years. Just moved back up to the CT snow belt a few months ago.

I saw a clip on TWC with some great info regarding shoveling and how much we're actually lifting. Lets just say "tons" is involved with me. I still have yet to get one. Even after 60 inches in 4 weeks 2010-11. 6" even cement is manageable. Takes so much longer with more than 10" course but I cant get myself to get one.. I like the workout.

I measured it once how much I do. I think it was like 2500sq ft of space! Not including raking the roof I did last year once.

If bridgeport just gets the low end they have there of 6" it means BDR will be above normal for the month in just 2 storms 3 days apart.

We'll see if they increase these totals.

Put it this way.. They have 0.64" qpf for them but just 6-8" snow? What if ratios are 15 or 20:1?? Easy 8-10" there
